Bethan has been a passionate Zendaya enthusiast for the past 3 years.
She enjoys the creativeness, advocacy and inspiration that comes from
Zendaya. Zendaya’s stand out performance talents include acting, art, music and design. Bethan is delighted to learn more about Zendaya through this project and hopes to inspire others the way Zendaya inspires her.
Through my PBL experience I have built my skills in sewing and design. I have learnt how to keep and build a personal portfolio to support my own creativity. Zendaya and her designer have inspired me to explore the creative design process. I have been able to design and sew my own clothes and create bookmarks with varying designs. At Showcase I hope to sell my bookmarks and donate the funds to PETA - one of the 8 Charities that Zendaya supports.

Founded in 1980, PETA is dedicated to establishing and defending the rights of all animals.

PETA operates under the simple principle that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment. PETA educates policymakers and the public about animal abuse and promotes kind treatment of animals.

PETA’s animal protection work brings together members of the scientific, judicial, and legislative communities to stop abusive practices. Aided by thorough investigative work, congressional involvement, consumer boycotts, and international media coverage, PETA achieves long-term changes that improve the quality of life for, and prevent the deaths of, countless animals.

My favourite part of PBL was learning to sew and being unhindered by a traditional classroom style. I enjoyed catching up weekly with my Friday team, they encouraged me to be me and learn my way. I look forward to completing Showcase, and doing Project space again.
I highly recommend coming along to IMPACT LEARNING and joining in the fun and exciting way of seeing the world around us.

Project Based Learning

I’m sure you already KNOW that we’re moving away from a knowledge-based workforce and into an economy where critical-thinking, creativity, collaboration and other 'soft skills' are the MOST sought after qualities of the 21st century employee or business owners.

I’m sure you also know that your child has what it takes to make it in this dynamic new world – they just need to learn the right-skills and connect with the right-people to guide them…
